My background in Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning has equipped me with a strong analytical foundation. Over time, I discovered that my true interest lies in software development and front-end engineering, which led me to pursue a freelance career where I can focus on building engaging digital products.
Having grown up in China, I pursued further studies in the UK and Germany, experiences which have shaped my professional approach and personal worldview. I now live and work in Zurich, Switzerland, where I draw inspiration from the multicultural environment.

Designed and built the official Quassel website using Astro, delivering a fast, responsive, and accessible frontend, as well as a client-facing Shopify online shop with product catalogs, payment integration, and responsive layouts. I worked closely with stakeholders and was responsible for the frontend implementation across multiple projects.

I was involved in several projects and participated in processing digital evidence (Outlook emails, Teams chat conversations, loose files, etc.), which allowed me to gained experience in tackling unstructured or corrupted raw data using Python and SQL. After noticing the redundancy in the decommissioning tasks of legacy projects, I developed a programme to automate the workflow, greatly reducing manual effort and saving time. Additionally, I have also worked with PowerBI, Brainspace and GenAI technology.
